Lessons from bronies: Removing ableist stereotypes is intolerant!
Remember the backlash when an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic portrayed fan-favorite Ditzy/"Derpy" as "humorously" mentally challenged? Well, the concerns were heard, and the voice changed!

Aaaaand now some bronies are crying "ruined FOREVER!". To the tune of "not liking our insensitivity is intolerant!"

So, everyone who can now watch the clip without cringeing, you're harshing someone's squee, and that's terrible.

While I'm glad that Hasbro is taking a step in the right direction, some of the brony reactions I've been seeing all over the internet are giving me a serious case of rage-itis. The only cure is Cadbury Cream Eggs, but there just ain't enough in the world.

Hahahaha! While I was reading through this thread just now, I was eating a Cadbury Egg. Mmmmm...they are the best!

Get out your G3s and their little combs, and just comb their (non-molded and inferior) hair until you feel more mellow. It worked for me. *hugs*

Y'know, that's not a bad idea. I managed to dull most of my rage by tidying up the living room, so at least it was put to positive use. Though now that I think about it, I do have some G1 and G3 yard sale ponies that could use a good cleaning up...

We only get those here over Easter. It makes me sad :(.

I've found mini chocolate donuts to be a good stopgap during this, though.

Same here, only our stores just start stocking them and the other Easter stuff the day after Valentine's. No complaints here. \o/

Lucky! For some reason, they don't show up down here until a week or two after the other Easter candy, then they sell out fast.

There was a college book store at Michigan State (I can't remember if it was in East Lansing or Okemos) that stocked them year-round. I miss it.
