I have had many arguments with otherwise intelligent people about this point. There was a whole article about how anyone who looked at racist porn and said "ick, that's racist" was a racist.
People don't seem to get the difference between this stuff. Rape fantasies/ravishment play are not actually rape or supporting rape. (Though some porn is and does -- less than there used to be though, percentage-wise.) Racist fantasies ARE ACTUALLY RACIST and supporting racism. But persuading people out of what turns them on isn't going to work, either. I really don't know what to do with this argument.
