In the 60 Minutes interview, Eminem publicly wonders if he was/is criticized for his hateful, offensive language because he's white. He also isn't homophobic.

Relevant aside: he wrote a song called "White America" about how he knows he owes his popularity to being white.

Naturally, it doesn't take long for fans to show up at the Huffington Post article explaining that he's totally not homophobic, and he is targeted because he's white.

What gets me is the seeming underlying attitude that no white person should have an uphill battle in anything. Why shouldn't it be tough for him to get respect? Why should he get it by default? Because he's white? Nuh-uh.

Life is pain, princess. Anyone who tells you different is selling something.
