Kickstarter Project vs Gamers, or: Why don't you think about the MEN?!
Tropes vs Women in Video Games is a project by a single woman to look at and analyze several tropes and stereotypes in gaming that concerns female characters. Sounds like a reasonable project, right?

Apparently, the internet doesn't seem to agree.

What I don't get, is why people don't realize it's possible to disagree with a woman without THREATENING HER WITH RAPE.

THIS. There's such a big difference between 'I don't agree with what you're saying because of reasons X, Y and Z' (even if X, Y and/or Z are fallacies such as misandry being an instituationalised problem) and 'BITCH! Tits or GTFO! Get back in the kitchen!'

Because she's a woman, so she's lesser and anything that works to make her shut up is ok.
