Also, "it does mean that you're an ignorant fool, the sort of person who thinks that a virgin by default doesn't know anything about sex" is a really bad point in this case, and I say this as a virgin who writes sex! Because if someone comes in and says, "Hey, I have had sex, and this is in my experience not how it works," that's pretty different from saying, "YOU CAN NEVER WRITE ABOUT SEX EVER." Pro-tip: if someone has more experience than you, you should maybe consider that they have a perspective you should consider.
