I watched a documentary on the Jonestown cult. Now I know more about it than the survivors.
I watched a documentary on slavery in the United States. Now I know that if Sojourner Truth or Frederick Douglass said something that disagrees with my opinion of it (however that would work I don't even know), I can put my fingers in my ears and yell la la la, because I know just as much about it as they did.
I watched a documentary on cats. Now I tell my cat she's pooping in the litter box the wrong way. I know because of the documentary.
