Obviously, the best thing to do when people think you might probably be an asshole (well, you almost certainly are, but some people may be willing to give you some leeway) is to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I'm also somehow bereft of sympathy for people whose claim to "victimization" is that people are annoyed by their acting like assholes. And who claim history is on their side when they clearly don't know a thing about it. I always love Christians who are furious at the idea of marriage being something other than a religious ceremony between a man and a woman because "that's what it has always been". Why aren't they equally irritated at the idea of it only being a man and one woman? Or irritated by it being, idk, religious at all and not simply a business contract between families?
