It's oozed into other places too. Not so long ago, the internet was toxic because it took nothing seriously and nothing was sacred, and bullies used that to their advantage. Now, it's toxic because it takes everything too seriously and everything is sacred, and bullies use that to their advantage. I think I'm past hoping we'll reach some kind of reasonable state.
