In this case it seems like a good chunk of these kids wanted the attention (and in some cases were the ones sending themselves hate). I hate saying that but considering how furious some of them seemed to have gotten when people even suggested turning off anon or god forbid logging out. Most of the people being 'targeted' seem to be giving out their own url on omgeal and/or are getting nothing but well wishes because they've been 'targeted'.

There are people that have really gotten hurt, but no one is really paying attention to them because they aren't doing over-dramatic play by plays narrated by family and friends that happen to have their blog passwords.
