No love for my pronouns of choice :( :waves tiny flag

I use "they" if I'm just writing generally, about non-specific or hypothetical people.
I use he or she if the person has stated their identity and I remember.
I'll use "OP," or the username if I'm not sure about someone's online gender identity, and they haven't specifically stated. Then I'll use "they" for the rest of the time I'm referring to them.
I tend to use zie, se, xe, hir, ey for people who specifically identify outside gender binaries, such as myself. I also get twitchy if people acknowledged that I prefer "ey" for myself and then don't use it.
