I lol'd. ;-)

But I still find it amazing that the more conservative folks are still screaming for blood at OMG an interracial segment.

I remember in college when Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas were extremely strapped for cash, and couldn't find the funds for either ESL or providing non-English speakers with bilanguage classes. Each local and/or regional PBS station there made up for it as best they could by airing Villa Allegre. While it wasn't the greatest programme in the history of television, it was one of the few times that I can recall any of those states making an attempt to reach out to their non-English speaking audience.

In stead, it seems that now we're being subjected to a watered-down, Wonder Bread, politically correct (to the point of missing exactly what PC actually means} version of Sesame Street.
