You don't understand, and therefore mock, people who actually apprehend God

Actually, I'd be inclined to mock because the first mental image that comes to mind here is really damned funny.

(Yes, I know 'apprehend' can mean to understand or perceive, but the image that comes to mind is God being confronted by a slew of people with water guns or something, arresting hir for...um, acts of Godliness, I guess.)
