I just thought that'd be an interesting route to go after she discovers Edward has powers. Their conversation went like this:

Her: YOU HAVE SUPERPOWERS
Edward: What. What!
Her: YOU HAVE SUPERPOWERS
Edward: that is preposterous why would you ever think that
Her: FUCK YOU YOU HAVE SUPERPOWERS
Edward: look i have to go

And I figured the next best response she could give was to become a supervillain and like, capture him for study. Or dig a pit or something. And go bald or something.
