The Wuthering Heights comparison had me going "bzuh?" Clearly, this person has either never read WH, or seriously, seriously misunderstands it.

JKR makes a major point out of how brave Snape is. She thinks he's a total douchebag, but also a brave and fairly selfless man.

You know what Heathcliff ISN'T? Brave or selfless. What he and Snape share is an intense level of petty vindictiveness born out of abusive childhoods and massive senses of adult entitlement.
