I saw part of this on the HMS_STFU, but not the Emmett Till part.

So. No sympathy for a boy who was beaten to death at age 14. Would they have had sympathy for him if he weren't black? Or do they just have no sympathy for him because he was good-looking and had friends? Because everyone knows pretty people with friends are the most evil people in the world.

I've been a little bit on the fence over whether these particular Snapefen were rotten people or if it was just confined to the HP books. I'm not on the fence any more.
