I guess I was thinking in terms of Catherine and Heahthcliff. :P Yes, IA, the book itself ends on a happy note with Hareton Earnshaw and Cathy Linton. :) I do consider the book to have a good romance when it comes to Hareton/Cathy. So yeah, you're right - it's not a total tragedy.

I just don't get the appeal of Catherine/Heathcliff as a great romance, and that's all I usually hear people talk about when they talk about WH being a great romance.
