This, but also: the casual use of ableist/racist/transphobic/sexist terms, rape jokes, etc. is part of the foundation on which rape culture and institutionalized ableism, racism, transphobia, and sexism are built. All of those things have real-world consequences. Mswyrr made a great comment about this in the original entry.
