I'm really tired of seeing people praising this thing all over. Just reading most of the comments on that post makes me feel really ill. I think it's the treatment of the dissenters that gets me most. People who say they find the post offensive, or that they're horrified that people they know linked to it considering it ~positive and revolutionary~? Yeah, those commenters are told that they're just on imaginary crusades against "lookism," that there's Free Speech In This Country, that they're oversensitive, that they're the ones being dicks, it just goes on and on and I can't believe how many people I've seen praising this who are ... completely missing all the many, many things that are wrong with this post.
