Sort of. It's like - "You shouldn't be so rude! I'm not rude when people ask me questions about plants, so why are you rude when people ask you about --ism?"
Never mind the fact that being an expert on plant biology is their job, they're paid for it. God, can you imagine being paid to correct assholes on the internet?! Cause that's the only way I'd be okay with her comparison.
