They took the shirt down because they got industry pressure to do so, not because they give the first fuck about anyone's "unease". If they did, they wouldn't be wearing the goddamned shirt themselves at the con. They also wouldn't be banning people who disagree from the con. I don't for the life of me get why you're white-knighting these people.

And it seems "bastardly" that people are trying to show these unrepentant assholes that actions have consequences by donating to a different charity? Nothing else has gotten through to them, perhaps this will. Perhaps nothing will. But people are perfectly in their rights to do whatever they please with their money-- including donate to a different children's charity because the founders of this one are triggering the living fuck out of people.
