Just to restate what we already know, because WOW
Uh... it wasn't so much that they "received communication" from him as that he made up a sockpuppet to answer them on Amazon and then outed himself.

Unless "Michael Brite," who said, "Hey, this is me, actual Christopher Pike," is just A DOUBLE SOCKPUPPET. DUN DUN DUNNNNN.
