Since today seems to be all about this kind of fail
Oh, no, Lucas and Spielberg and Kasdan, no!

Possibly triggering for molestation/victim blaming, definitely rage-inducing.

I don't think I'd even seen an Indy movie when I saw the series. I just watched anything on TV that seemed aimed at my age group.

Yeah, I never watched the "aimed at" demographic, really. My choices were always too random. Except maybe Buffy.

Well, the alternative was pretty much stuff aimed at senior citizens or preschoolers. :-)
