"That's a DUDE? EW! I Need to Bathe!"
So, over on That Guy With the Glasses MarzGurl has been reviewing the Land Before Time franchise.

Movie number 8 has a new spike tail named Tippy who looks like this.

MarzGurl is disturbed.

It starts at the 4:20-ish mark of the video. For those who don't want to click, here's a transcription.

Adult Spike Tail: Come on boys.
MarsGurl: Wait, wait, BOYS?!...That pink thing...It's a DUDE?! Ew, what the hell?! It even has this big girly eyelash thing going on that the girl LittleFoot look-alike had from a few movies back. Ugh. UGH! I think I need to bathe after this.

Luckily the comments are full of clue-bats for the most part and call her out on the offensive reaction.

My personal favourite comment is "Really MG, you watch anime; you should be very very accustomed to "dude looks like a lady" by now."

..."Feminine" is not an adjective that I've ever ascribed to Seth Green.

...Nope, still looks pretty damn masculine to me. Actually, now that I'm looking closely, I'd say, other than being short and thin, he looks more traditionally masculine than the vast majority of his fellow Hollywood actors.

Well... he was wearing his hair long and some weird outfits... although, yes, I have no idea why would anyone call him "femenine"...

Here, let me find a picture of the movie...

This is like the best I can't. And no, I don't know why NC kept going on that this guy wasn't a guy.

It was the 90s. Dudes had long hair in the 90s. I had quite a few kids in my classes with long hair, and I was 8 years old when that movie came out.

*sigh*

Uh. Yeah. Still not at all feminine. Didn't jokes about men with long hair looking like women go out with the 60s?

I don't think Seth looks like a girl, and yes, I agree with you. It was an stupid comment, NC was totally off, and I only mentioned here because it's an example of the fans reacting the same way to one of the male reviewers than to a female reviewer in a case of extreme fail.

No worries, I was criticizing him, not you.

...it wasn't that weird. That was the skateboard movie where he dressed up in some funky styles while his cousin tried to help him get a girl's attention, right? It was the style back then. Don't ask Cher Horowitz. If anything, it's possibly the angle of the shot for the Buffy pic, but he's never been feminine. Even in body posture.

It was not my personal opinion. I know it's the style of the era, and the style of the character Seth was. I thought it was uncalled for, and I wasn't the only one as the fen complained. Personally, I think Airborne is one of his worst reviews, since he seems to be going out of his way NOT to get anything of the movie.

I'm sorry, I haven't had a good day. For some reason I thought you thought I was saying that Seth Green looked femenine... and from there I got confused. Sorry about that.
