I find this blatant "uppity bitch needs to know her place" attitude weird in more ways than the obvious, since I'd heard some people in fandom's explanation for writing all-guys, all-the-time being "well, there aren't enough women in the franchise who aren't background characters, distressed damsels, or 2-d love interests."
