I was worried about that too because as much as I love magical girl, some of it is really tasteless and really really not funny.
Plus the fact my roommate, who has an appreciation for magical girls, was wary of the art because he doesn't like the ~moe styles of the art.
But I have heard it's bad and good so I'm still a little unsure what to believe, lol.
