Oh fucking GODS, what is wrong with people? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE MEN? She defended herself, she fought off someone, and then THEY decide to victimize they? THEY decide that it's not bad enough that one man sexually assaulted her but now they need to make it a GROUP activity to punish her for having been able to stand up for herself?

I hate them. I hate them all so much. I hate them with a vicious seething rage that makes me wish that karma would smack them upside the head with nightmares of having been in her position and felt every single bit of that experience. And then having the shakes afterwards and the distrust of groups of men that could be dangerous and the mental trauma and just--

I need to believe, right now, that karma will fucking smack them about because otherwise, this is going to turn into one of those things where you start wondering about how difficult it would be to engineer a bio-genetic virus that'd disable sexual drives in human beings except under specific, consensual conditions.

My brain just can't comprehend this. Most of my best friends are guys and not one of them would have stood around and done nothing while this woman was brutalized- they would have jumped in and tried to help her. I'm sitting here, trying to picture one of them doing this to a woman and it doesn't work. Why it is such scum (I refuse to call them 'men' or even 'people' because that would imply they have some level of humanity which these things obviously do not have) is allowed to get away with their evil?

It's enough to make me want to carry a tazer. Sadly, I believe they're illegal for non-police to carry in Michigan.
