Not sure where to throw this...
...so maybe here? It's certainly not funny business. You have in all likelihood seen this already, but in case not:


According to a friend of mine--and I am certainly able to believe it--"Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. If anyone is on twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30. The more users at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut Iranians' access to the internet down."

I don't see any big holes in the idea; poking around online seems to support it. And the thought of these guys being found through something so simple makes me sick.
