I don't proclaim to be l33tsauce or anything because you never stop learning, really, and anyone who claims they know everything is someone to be avoided like herpes. But I've had my share of initiations and teachers in various Western traditions, and I do have some cred on the subject.

The thing that kills me the most about New Age "teachers" is I've yet to find a single one of them that passes a basic smell test. It's all Don Juan bullshit. You look at the knowledge and training they claim and everything is so goddamn vague and such a haphazard mishmash of shit that makes no sense. Like Ray was going on about supposed Peruvian teaching but neglected to mention the tribe (a common thing with these scammers). And then invoked samurai for some reason. They know that the dumbasses who drop $10k a pop on this shit are basically Edina Monsoon types that never do homework on people and just listen to whomever Oprah says is cool.
