If this is real, then I've just lost a little bit more faith in humanity.
JUST NO.

Sitck A Pin In It.

Or as one commenter put it, "RACISM? IN MY TEXAS GOP?"

I think I'm going to be sick.

No, it's called the White House because you had to white wash it after we burnt it down. Need us to do it again?

That being said, is there a weight LARGE enough for me to drop on the person who made that pin? Or a distance large enough so they can fall onto something pointy?

Get them high enough, what they land on doesn't need to be pointy...

Ditto. Last time I thought I was making headway, some idiots the next town over from me threw a shitfit and fired a principal for giving a presentation on how Muslims are people too after a kid got his ass beat for being Muslim.

I feel like I've said "Fuck this shit" too many times this year in regards to retarded-assed politics. And yet it shows no sign of letting up.

For a moment there I thought it might be an interesting LOLedgy comment on how the White House has always had white presidents. Because as a racist joke it doesn't make a shit load of sense.

I think the Liberals are showing their true colors right here. What happened to the party of tolerance and love? I'm reading a lot of hate.

Yes, because clearly if we object to a racist button, we're just as horribly intolerant as the people who made it. Fuck you, bub.

You know what? Fuck it. I've got no problem being intolerant of people that are this ignorant. But then again, I might be a bad liberal but I've a feeling I'd be a worse conservative.

I don't have to tolerate BULLSHIT.

I keep telling people that the Bushes really aren't from here (one of the chants we employed at antiwar rallies here in Dallas was, "BUSH IS FROM CONNETICUT!")

It's going to take us a lot time to redeem ourselves.

As someone form Connecticut, I have to say that Texas and Florida have the Bushes now. We've washed our hands of them. Besides we still have another four years worth of Joe Lieberman.

Though I was so proud of our Republican governor, Jodi Rell, for sending the Lieutenant Governor to the Coast Guard Academy when Shrub was speaking at the graduations. She felt that a previously scheduled meeting with governor of Massachusetts to discuss regional issues was more important.

I suppose we could look at it as the fuckwits clearly labeling themselves so that we can spot them more easily. Takes the guesswork right out of it. "You're from the state of , but I know that there are reasonable and unreasonable people all over, so... oh, wait, I didn't notice your button. So you're one of the fuckwits, then. Right. No need to waste time on you."

Apparently the dude only sold four of those pins, and has been banned from any further Texas GOP events. State party leadership donated the $1,500 he paid for his booth to flood victims, and recommended that he be banned from selling at the national convention.

Oh yes. Did you see their extended whine about how the mean bloggers were ZOMG, OPPRESSING THEM!

free enterprise has been censored, and TheSockObama politically plush toy has been discriminated against in the marketplace of the United States of America.

Unsurprisingly, they're of that lot that thinks that "free enterprise" and "free speech" only applies to them, not to customers who might freely choose not to buy their racist product, or to critics who might freely point out how racist it is.

That's reassuring. I'm not American, so its really hard to see all this kind of stuff in the media and not start thinking of Americans in terms of stereotypes, which just makes the whole problem worse, which is stupid because xenophobia exists everwhere, we (humans) ought to know that by now.

Nice to see this stuff is not tolerated, even if it can't be bitch-slapped entirely.

Ah, the logic of the Internet: If you dare to point at something clearly racist, and label it as clearly racist, YOU'RE the REAL racist for noticing it, and mentioning it.

And once again white male bigoted pigdicks are the Most Oppwessed Minowity in the United States and Evwybuddy's Picking On Us, Waaaaaaaahhhhhh...

I made the mistake, a few years ago, of noticing the racism in the Disney Pirates films, and saying so. Very enlightening, the responses.
