More imaginary lives On the heels of the
last fake memoirist reported here, we've got another one:
Gang memoir is pure fiction. Turns out the half-Native American, half-white foster child and drug runner for the Bloods is "all white and grew up in the well-to-do Sherman Oaks section of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley, with her biological family. She graduated from the Campbell Hall School, a private Episcopal day school in the North Hollywood neighborhood. She has never lived with a foster family, nor did she run drugs for any gang members."
What got me boggling was the
previous article The New York Times published about her last week.
( Some choice bits )Her own (real) sister turned her in, after spotting a news article about the memoir.
