1:14a	Rejection, now with that special racism flavor William Sanders, editor of Helix, rejected a story by Luke Jackson. Typical for the publishing world, right? Not when the rejection letter praises the author for "...a good job of exploring the worm-brained mentality of [Muslims] - at the end we still don't really understand it, but then no one from the civilized world ever can...". Naturally, a furor ensues. The recipient of the letter jumps in, *defending* Sanders. There is bonus side wank about whether rejection letters are fair game for posting in public. Ex-diplomat: Sex with teens OK in foreign cultures The article is full of stupidity, but this part of the excerpt from the diplomat's letter justifying having sex with local girls aged 14 to 17 really gave me a wtf moment: "In the Congo, women develop quickly, both physically and emotionally, due to the substantial responsibility society places on them from early childhood," Nachman wrote.
