12:36a	Wow, Bacardi, y'all are classy. Lemme sum up: Bacardi uses an awesome ad about how you should hire an ugly friend to make yourself look good. If that's not bad enough, they then go on to say how these average-looking, normal girls are "your own freckled pile of cellulite" to tote around to make yourself feel good. There is not enough rage in this world for how I feel about this new Bacardi ad campaign. ETA via drglam: The Bacardi Breezer site seems to be giving a 404 error and the Facebook page seems to be deleted? Thank god. ETA part deux: Bacardi's response. (188 Comments | Comment on this)
9:50p	Not sure where to throw this... ...so maybe here? It's certainly not funny business. You have in all likelihood seen this already, but in case not: According to a friend of mine--and I am certainly able to believe it--"Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. If anyone is on twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30. The more users at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut Iranians' access to the internet down." I don't see any big holes in the idea; poking around online seems to support it. And the thought of these guys being found through something so simple makes me sick. (15 Comments | Comment on this)
