Ok, while Nader does have a point about the economic conditions of the inner cities, he is once again putting the cart before the horse. Improving the cities *is* important, but it's a lot easier (or one at least has a larger pulpit) to do so *after* one is elected president. Right now, Obama has to court the entire country and consequentially is pandering like a pandering thing. *le sigh*

Besides, Obama's said he will create a national director of urban policy and acknowledged the problems that cities face during a speech at the National Conference of Mayors. He hasn't forgotten there's problems; he just has other things to worry about.
