Obese Third Grader Taken From Mom, Placed in Foster Care

A Cleveland third grader who weighed more than 200 pounds was taken from his mother after officials reportedly said she did not do enough to help the boy, who suffered from a weight-related health issue, to lose weight.

As far as I know...you don't work in my industry, you are also making overgeneralizations on how it works.

Perhaps most companies that deal with providing this equipment don't provide or use those CPAPs you linked to because they are cheap? Mayhap the are prone to break downs? Don't provide what a patient needs? Can't be repaired or replaced quickly and locally? So they only use the higher end more reliable units that they can repair and maintain without too much interuption to the patient's life?

I don't think it was your intent but your call out came across as both hostile and accusitory, and a bit un-neccessary since by your own admission your searches you knew that what I said was true in spirit...CPAPS can cost a few grand, you could have asked about your findings rather than centering one one unfortunate choice of works and then accusing me as a liar and dissmissing everything I said as untrue/untrustworthy.
