We can has something nice now?
Not at all funny, but wow, it's nice to see someone doing the right thing:

Amidst the grieving, a rare act of sportsmanship

Short version: The captain of a high school basketball team lost his mother. Later that day, there was a game. The captain wanted to play, even though he was grieving. As he wasn't on the pre-game roster, though, the coach letting him play was a technical foul, meaning the opposing team got two free throws. So the captain of the opposing team got up to take his shots--and purposely missed both times.

Occasionally, you need a little hope for humanity, especially on this comm. These guys make me think all the badness doesn't matter as much, because young people know how to do the right thing.
