The questions and answers and the way the author of the quiz handled the response was incredibly poor. I suspect the people who spent eons shipping Spock/Chapel or Spock/Bones were sufficiently cowed and shamed to jump the ship once berated by the author. But I guess that is to be expected from someone who associates with neo-prodigy and seems to fully support his threats.

Port manteaux of any kind are stupid but those are just plain silly.
OK, that's interesting. Have you got any stats for that? From the newsletter or delicious number stats or anything? Also..by bigger do you mean larger fannish output, larger fanbase or both? How do you estimate it?

just look at the remembers count at livejournal or the number of fanfictions posted at fanfiction.net

by bigger do you mean larger fannish output

that was the first impression after the movie came out.

To be fair, K/S is an old ship so it's a given that people would ship it in the reboot as well. K/B on the other hand became a big ship only in this movie because of the friendship developed there.
