Don't know what's going down with everyone's favorite insane fandom SPN, but good money says it's epic.

Apparently a crazy fan outed someone IRL to family and friends/work? Could be related to prior SPN wank and the dontyouwaitup deletion above. (All these are unlocked as of time of posting, not sure how long they'll stay that way.)

In apetslife's journal someone anonymous said that DYWU is going to be asking the wank_report mods for the ips of the commenters in the wank. I would guess that faking a fandom "outing" might be her excuse for requesting the IPs so she could find out who had been commenting.

Guess we will have to trust in waltraute not to give us up without any proof.

I guess what would happen in a case like this, DYWU or her friends would have to come up with the IP address (via that anon email if they can trace it down) and give that IP address to waltraute to see if they can bump it up against the anonymous commenters IP addresses from W_R. It'd be more of a confirmation, not a willy nilly handing out of the IP list.

Either way, it didn't start out as any kind of attack on DYWU herself and I don't see anything in the wank threads that suggests there was some kind of conspiracy going on. DYWU came over here, didn't get the sympathy she wanted, and then all of a sudden soemone decided to out her to her family and friends and require her to delete her journal? Out of the blue?

If I am wrong I'll feel like an asshole but I bet if you asked one of those family memebers, their response would be "WTF are you talking about, email about porn?" Conveniently of course, we have no way to check.
