This might be better on clairvoyant, but since I have no hard links, it has to go here, and anyway, it's a PSA for the wank reporting mice who might be inclined to wank in the house:

emails are flying around the SPN fandom that DYWU & co. have gotten the IP addresses of the mice in the above threads and know who they are. If wank does not follow, I will eat my mousehat.

	That might be true, but there's a huge difference between posting anonymously in a place that's set up FOR anonymous posting (like wank_report) and posting to your blog or whatever. What would be the point of getting IP info that an anonymouse that commented on W_R was the one who outed dontyouwaitup to her family and friends? All it confirms is that the douche who outed her posted here. They get no substantial info out of it unless the mods are going to do an IP ban.

These are the two IP addresses she posted on her new LJ. From what I can tell they are from Europe and have most likely been anonymized to hide the perp's real IP address.
Here's the IP address he or she was on while sending the email, for what it's worth: 91.204.161.125
And here's the IP originally associated with the "ssuckpuppet@hotmail" email address: 212.162.1.124

OK. I have a few questions.

- Who took this screen cap? The second tab has the gmail inbox of "weatheredwi..." open which I'm going to assume is "weatheredwinter." This is disturbing because before DYWU changed her new LJ name to winterweathered, it was weatheredwinter.

- Are you DYWU?

- If not, did you hack her gmail?

- This is a screen cap of a f-locked post... I'm not sure what the rule is if the author of a f-locked post makes a screen cap and posts it here... I'm assuming it works the same and it won't be used in a wank report.

If she was, in fact, outed.

Think about it: who would be able to easily get hold of the email addresses of her family and friends to do it? And she "just caught it" and deleted her LJ before any damage was done?

The number of people who could easily put together a list of a significant number of emails for her friends and family =/= a large group, and you wouldn't need IP addys from here to find them. The IP addys from the emails would surely be enough.

I reckon shenanigans and bullshit is a better call. Call an outing to gather sympathy, ask for the IPs from here on the back of the sympathy from that "crime" and go on a pogrom against her fandom enemies with the info.

Ah... It smells like the old days.

Are we sure DYWU isn't actually Msscribe's new identity?
