	Yeah, it is a little difficult to prove, seeing as how almost everyone in both places is anonymous... but I think that's the point being made. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Before the wank gets posted, F_W's no-trolling policy doesn't apply to anyone. If someone sees a tip here and goes and acerbates the wank, well...they're assholes, but they're not breaking any rules. If they do it after the wank is posted, then they are.

F_W can't police people. I agree that making the wank_report non-anonymous would help curb pre-report trolling, but the point of making this comm anonymous-friendly is so people without journalfen accounts can leave a tip. Also, those who don't want retribution for reporting someone else's silliness can do so.

Let's not starve F_W in hope of stopping assholes from acting like assholes. There's not much hope of success, and it's not our job anyway.

Ah, but the poster wasn't suggesting wank_report not be anonymous, just that forums/blogs/communities that allow anon commenting not be included in the wank, to try and cut down trolling.

But...that assumes Fandom_Wank is the internet police. Several people lurk there (and here) who don't have journalfen accounts who may troll wanks irregardless of whatever FW or WankReport does. I don't think banning comms that allow anon reporting will stop the trolls...or the wank.

Although communities may be able to cut down on trolls by not allowing anon commenting in their domains. It's a cost/benefit for any fandom forum.
