The thing is, you don't know why someone would be triggered by pink socks. Maybe they were raped by someone wearing pink socks and that's become a trigger. Maybe they were once gagged with a pair of pink socks during a burglary. Maybe they don't even know why, but it happens.

In the end, though, what does it matter to you? Just be a decent person, add the warning for things posted in that community if you write/draw something involving pink socks and be done with it. Don't kick up a fuss over something that barely affects you.
