Eeriecuties.com is a comic about one of those typical schools of monsters. Vampires, catboys, you name it.

Recently, there was a plotline about a gender-changing orb. It fell into the hands of a perverted ghost posessing a doll, who started turning every boy female. The orb eventually went into overdrive, turning everything real the ghost wanted, which included turning every female into blonde, busty, stupid people. Yes, literally: One doctor got her intelligence turned down while noticing it.

The wank? One of the latest comics in this strip had a character violently state her disapproval and how she did not want it, the doll laughed at her resistance as he transformed her, and it ended with her making out with another girl. Some people objected, pointing out that this can be read as rape, and that for a comedic comic, the ghost doll character couldn't stay without serious repercussions.

The artist eventually agreed, and changed the comic by replacing the kissing panel with a panel where the girl was just turned into a dancing cheerleader. Cue massive complaints about "censorship", "losing respect for the authors for caving in", and of course "people who complained were overreacting". Needless to say that the amount of complaints about censorship vastly exceed those who originally complained about the comic in the first place.

I am not sure if it's funny or unfunny.

I stumbled across this "controversy" on the comic's TV Tropes page. The "ZOMG CENSORSHIP" crowd does realize that the unedited comic is in the "Extras" section, right?

But that requires effort to reach! How dare you FORCE them to make such an effort! ZOMG CENSORSHIP
