More of a clairvoyant wank report, if anything. No Orihime+Ichigo being sad over Rukia not visiting=shipwank.

brb, too busy squealing over JHS-aged Karin and Yuzu to care.

Bleachness is relatively quiet, tho. They're too busy drooling over ~Pretty Princess Not an Oiran/Geisha Slutty Whore~!Rukia and trying to shoehorn the pictures of the new calendar into famous Japanese characters, or something. ("Rukia must be Atsu-hime! Orihime must be Murasaki Shikibu! That's what 2chan thinks so it must be truuuuueeee!")

So no, no real shipwank by now. We're tempting fate, aren't we?

Several fans (mostly Japanese) wrote back to identify Rukia as princess AtsuHime (not a fancy prostitute) amd Orihime as Murasaki Shikibu, author of The Tale of Genji THE WORLD'S FIRST NOVEL (not an anonymous Samurai's wife). Of course those fans identifying the girls as such also claim to be doing such things in order to annoy the IchiRuki fandom. Mature, ne?

AHAHAHAHAHA, Debbiechan. You just ~can't~ let a single post pass without bashing These Horrible Origos even if they're not doing anything wrong, can you?

But one of the IchiHimes did post in the Rukia FC in BA (even saying that it was "enemy ground") to argue that Rukia was a geisha and not Atsuhime until being banned.

And afterwards an Orihime bashfest started there. Classy as always.

She/he was banned? But it was fine for all the IchiRukis that frequented the Orihime FC to run free and bash Orihime all the time? LOL BA, never change.

To be completely fair, the IchiHimes don't even like Maltex.

And she was banned after one post, after which the Orihime bashers all went back to the Orihime FC to baww about Orihime being Murasaki Shikibu and why don't those nasty IchiOris want her to be something as feminist as a writer?!

But anon! If the horrible IchiOris make a wrong step, they should be wiped out of the Earth, so let's bash them all because of what only one of them does and nevermind they don't even like her either!

I just had to look up the 2chan posts, and if the original question was this (677) (http://2bangai.net/search_id/index.php?action=search&keyword=HA1iMEDL0&year=2010&month=09&day=26), it's written in broken Japanese, and if my Japanese doesn't fail me it says, or is trying to say: "But there's a person who hates Rukia and she said 'Rukia is definitely a geisha! It's impossible for Rukia to be a princess!'"

I wonder how accurate this is...

It's true. Noted IchiHime fan and general nut Asam a.k.a. Maltex argued that Rukia had to be a geisha and wasn't a princess, even posting in the Rukia FC (which Asam called "enemy ground"). Alas, the posts were deleted after Asam was banned again from BA.

I was wondering about the tone. Is she a Rukia hater? Did she really say "it's impossible for Rukia to be a princess"? Was she trying to demean Rukia by calling her a geisha?

it is a question by one of BA Rukia translators in 2ch. asking among Rukia fans who love her whether they see her as a geisha or as a princess. try asking in general fandom, the same question, you might be surprised over the answers.

Not to mention her tweeting Kubo this:

@tite_kubo Rukia is AtsuHime! http://tinyurl.com/2g3fqgn http://tinyurl.com/25ns8kf But some American fans insist she is geisha--haha

Way to bring a creator into your wank, debbiechan. Thumbs up for that.

Ok, grudge-y.

Sure this fan was exercising poor judgment in terms of Tweeting him early, but I don't see how that's on the same level as informing him when she thinks the American is wrong/being silly. It's not only a calendar that he didn't create, but why is it his business what fandom says about it?

For fuck's sake, there's wank about a Pierrot calendar?

The clothes are sightly inaccurate for both the Geisha and Atsu-Hime take. I'm seriously not surprised that Kubo couldn't figure out was up with that.

Also thinking geisha are prostitutes is fucking retarded for anyone who claims to be ~*~cultural savvy~*~. Maybe it is a princess, wasn't Rukia cosplaying an actual ~fancy prostitute~ not so long ago? Do they have short-term memory?

Those (http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4338/orihimem.jpg) look like irises (http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&biw=1280&bih=736&tbs=isch:1&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&gs_rfai=&q=iris) to me, instead of http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&biw=1280&bih=736&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=Bletilla+striata&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=>Bletilla striatas/chinese ground orchids</a>.They don't look so alike to the irises as people would like to think. If that was a supposed name reference to Murasaki Shikibu, the artist was sloppy in the flower design since not even Kubo realized the connection. If it was Murosaki, why wasn't she holding a pair of scrolls which would be more distinctive?

I think Orihime as Murosaki would be badass, but doesn't look like she is if the only connection is the vague and mistaken flower symbolism.

Why is Ishida dealing with the hollows? Wasn't that the reason why the shinigami exterminated his kind?

Apparently it's only bad if he destroys enough to unbalance the world or something. Nobody cares if individual souls are destroyed rather than purified.

I thought his grandfather created a technique that would make it okay for Quincy to take out Hollows. Although the whole unbalance thing just seemed like an excuse for the Shinigami to kill off the Quincy.

Apparently the Karakura representative just sucks that much, and I guess...SS has wiped their hands of Karakura, now that Ichigo's out and Aizen's dealt with?
