Except that this is a pattern with her - get in good with people, rely on their kindness and generosity, then spit in their faces and burn all bridges before moving on to the next victim.

Yeah, and that makes her a jerk. I wouldn't put her up or give her money. But as far as I can tell, she never deceived fayemeadows. And since her account is the only one I've seen so far, that's all I have to go on. Of course, maybe moony was worse to other people, I don't know.

What puts it past "taking advantage" and into "active con" is that in each case, before she ditched her current victim, she would start buttering up a new one. Generally telling all kinds of lies about how badly she was being treated by her helper-of-the-moment, how cruel and unkind and abusive they were being to her.

That way, once she'd burned the bridge, she had a new person set up waiting to help her, who'd already been primed to disbelieve anything negative said about her by the person she'd just left. She did this over and over, with a lot of skill and care. Three fandoms in a row rallied to her side against accusations from past victims, because she'd related (fake) horror stories of her treatment at their hands.

It's actually pretty genius, when you think about it.
