I don't dispute it's rarity, but there are people that appropriate it for their own ends. in g_n_n's case, it's used as a justification for bullying people.

And yeah, you know how many times I've heard that "it's usually some -ist prick who deserves it!"

It's almost as if it was mostly a made-up issue to defend prejudiced, harmful behavior. I would agree with that if someone's motivation (self-interest, popularity, whatever) in calling something out actually made any defense or difference of someone being -ist. in that way g_n_n's behavior is fine because she's supposedly helping the cause regardless.

but is someone who is calling out racism while using transphobic slurs in their arguments really helping anything?

	I'm not defending G_N_N. I don't give a damn about them and hope they get chewed out good since they seem to be completely unrepentant. I'm mostly tired about people pretending people like G_N_N are common. They are not. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
