	So, to be clear, we should not comment back to people who do things like that on wank report? Because if it's just someone's comment to the wank report, I can easily not respond, but what if the actual wank report is filled with that sort of thing? If you think it's a crappy report and want to argue with it, feel free to add corrections, but anything that gets too far up its own ass is probably being frozen if/when I notice it. I've frozen some of the dumber Bleach wankathons, too.

I check here when I'm procrastinating on my own writing, and the recent wanks have been particularly and aggressively stupid all-around.

Technically, that anon was correct, though - for the last few months, every report that even remotely had to do with prejudice and fandom was highjacked by people complaining about something they call "Social Justice Warriors", whatever that is, regardless how much it applied in the first place.

No idea who the groups mentioned by the anon are, nor do I care, but what is obvious is that there are people here desperately trying to talk down any mention of prejudice in fandom. That's really why some reports get out of hand, it's always the same kind of comments, usually coupled with the specific -ism in the first place. This then incenses other people, and the comments explode.

Example: the trans related postings seem to attract the same vicious troll every time, who spews blatant transphobia, sparking retorts from the resident trans-anons. And I really can't blame them for that.

I'm the original anon, just replying to say, this.

Despite the claim that I'm part of the problem, I don't comment in those threads, I rarely even read them at this point, for the same reason I avoid failfandomanon and similar places - no one is trying to have a conversation or say anything new. It's all just "social justice sucks, anyone who cares about racism or sexism or homophobia or transphobia sucks, yay for the status quo, and fuck anyone unlike me who thinks they should be considered people even though they're not like me." And it's repeated ad nauseum in a blatant, and very successful, attempt to shut down any topic of conversation that might require them to admit the existence of prejudice or examine their own privilege.

I've been reading this comm for years, and while there have been scattered troll attacks, it's never been like this - the FFA trolls quite literally control the comm, to the point that it's impossible for anyone to report any wank that falls in any "social justice" realm without being relentlessly trolled until everyone shuts up about whatever problem they want to pretend doesn't exist.

	It doesn't work like that. You can report whatever you want, as this is a comm for reports. If no one picks it up and posts it to a comm, and that's what has you upset, then get an account (it's not hard, people offer to make them, etc.) and post it yourself. 	I'm just curious, have you ever actually been to FFA? It's mostly just people talking about TV and shit and then occasionally getting into ridiculous fights over chopping onions and Chicago's lack of an east side.
