Because Overkill is Fun!
[info]kittenmommy posts to [info]fandom_lounge about an animal cruelty case. There is much wank.

[info]moriath posts to [info]otf_wank. There is much wank. Should you sign comments? Everyone wants puppies to die horrible deaths because they don't leap to action? [info]kittenmommy is highly amused with the wank, won't stop wanking, and is deeply wounded we do not care about animals?

I don't know anymore. It's four in the goddamn morning and the world is wanking. I ROO THE DAY I READ THIS WANK. ROO, YOU HEAR ME?

Well, you all managed to keep busy this weekend didn't you? Man, if I had internet access all the pages of wanking would have made nice kindling for fire wood and would have kept me amused.

Honestly? This has been a weekend of many wanks. But luckily not that many in-house. Aside from orihime_kun. WHICH REMINDS ME...

I've noticed that now that I've combed through the earlier wanks. Now that I've missed all the Bleach wankage, I'm a bit depressed that we didn't get our power back earlier because I would have had a good time with that. Okay, to be honest I'm kind of "Aww, I missed the fun Bleach wanks; time to catch up." and "YAY, HEAT".

Maybe she'll come back if I use her icon enough? She did say she would make me roo the day and bring JF atumbling down if I continued to use it. :D

I think she's showed up in the latest Bleach wank already, so yay! I'm going have fun with my Makoto/Haruka icon, even if she has no knowledge of Sailor Moon.

There's someone on the planet that likes anime and has no knowledge of Sailor Moon? :o

I got mine back on Saturday, for which I was endlessly grateful as I was starting to have internet withdrawal symptoms.

I'd feel happier if they had any estimate on when they'd restore our power.

Internet access. :(( Cable. :((( TiVo. :((((

Our's came back on Monday afternoon and I only live in the south end of Seattle.

I heard that Mercer Island and Bellevue probably won't have their power completely restored for another couple of days and that's all I've heard about power restoration.

Yeah, I'm in Bellevue and my house got it back at about 2am Sunday, but much of the city is still without. I know several people who won't be getting it any time soon because their power lines are completely wrapped around fallen trees.

At least the bar I always go to had power the whole time. Beer, lights, and heat saved my sanity.

My aunt lives near Bellevue and she's not expecting to get her power back until about Thursday or Friday since she's out in the woods, so she and her kids are staying with us until then.

I'm not legal and I don't drive, so I spent most of my time in the house so no lights, beer, or heat until Monday. I ended up going to bed at like 8 because there was nothing to do.

Well the fact that it gets dark at about 4:30 was terrible. Six felt like midnight. The second day we lucked out because our neighbor let us plug into his generator, so we had the Christmas tree and watched movies, but other than that it was so incredibly boring! If I ever had the notion that it would be fun to live in another century, the outage pretty much killed it for me.

I think being older had a lot to do with it being miserable, too. Were you around here for the Inauguration Day storm? I was ten, and I remember it was a blast to be at school all day in the dark and then go home to a fire in the fireplace and card games by candlelight and all that. This time it was fun for about three minutes, then I was over it.

I tried to get out and do things and coming back it was like dark, formidable tomb of darkness.

I know. I used to kind of want to live back in the pioneer days and or be one of the Mercer Girls but now I'm quite content with being a modern day girl.

I was about five and in the Columbia River Gorge, so I don't really remember the Inauguration Day storm. My grandmother had a tree fall on and destroy her back porch but that's all that I really remember about it.

Our neighborhood has one (count it! one!) downed powerline and minimal damage.

Unfortunately, I'm in the Tiger Mountain foothills.

I'm completely screwed.

Oooohhh, yeah you are screwed. Espeically if people who live in the cities are having issues with getting their power back.
