Summary:can't customize style on 'customize your style' page
Original Request:
I'm brand new to jf and wanted to customize my journal's style. However, the FAQs mostly have links to pages which do not have what they say they should have (e.g. there's no 'Who can reply...' section in the 'Edit profile' page) or do not accept/save the changes I enter.

I'm using a 'classic' theme in s2 mode. I've been trying to turn off customized comment pages, change the number of entries in recent view on my journal, change the font, change the text, etc, etc, etc. but -- none of these changes will take. I tried changing the customized comment pages option to 'no' half a dozen times by now, and it won't take. I can't turn on 'show icon on your entries' because it keeps staying 'no'. And so on and so forth.

Like I said above I did try the FAQ but had no luck finding an answer. I don't want to make a theme of my own, I'm happy with 'classic'. I'd just like to change the options in it like it says I should be able to. If you think I should switch to s1 and try my luck with those styles/themes I will, though the FAQ article from '08 says s1 styles are defunkt so I didn't try going that way.

I thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.

Hello. I know it's a pain, but try S1 for the time being if you want to customize. I'm having trouble with S2. :( Apologies.
