Meeting someone I worked with a long time ago was probably last on my agenda. Staying at his house, fucking him, and then lying discussing the loss of our parents was definitely not expected!

I know it's about time I sowed my wild oats, so having an unplanned interlude is not THAT unusual, even though it's not my style. What I didn't expect was how I feel now.

Billy, you can't go falling for someone.

Sorry everyone. Been busy filming and haven't been around. Will try to be a better boy...or a bad one if you want me to be!

Matthew sits at the hospital, staring at the wall. This is the fourth time he had been sitting in the same hallway, waiting for news about Noah.

He stands, stretching the kinks out of his back and walks to a designated mobile phone zone. He knows the rules about using them where you’re not allowed to and tries to smile as he hears Noah’s voice in his head, telling him he’d be in trouble and on the naughty step for using it in the wrong place.

He takes the phone out of his pocket and speed dials Billy. He waits for him to pick up and hopes his voice doesn’t give away what has happened.

( 'Hey Matt!' )

Billy places the last piece of tape on the last wrapped gift, his tongue firmly stuck halfway out of his mouth. He hates wrapping gifts; he’s so bad at it. He places all of Noah’s gifts in a bag with cute gnomes on it. The swag of gifts for the Foundation are stuffed into a multitude of carriers, and Matt’s birthday gifts are simply there to carry.

He’s finally able to get to Manderley to visit. His sister has armed him with a homemade organic pudding, saying it’s never too late in the year for pudding. He smiles; it’s like Christmas all over again.

Billy settles back in his seat, whisky in hand. It is a fairly quiet evening, and he is simply relaxing over a drink. Mike is not working so there is no fear of running into him. Billy would love to see him again, but tonight is for kicking back.
