You know that place in sleep where you're just starting to surface? And your dreams are particularly vivid but you're so close to coming awake, they're just impressions because they're so short?
I just rolled over in the bed and I swear I felt Jared pick up the sheet and lie down in the bed with me.
I felt actual, physical loss when I rolled back over and he wasn't there.
It's not like I didn't know he wasn't here. I put him on the plane myself.
Touring is necessary and I know he loves that connection with the fans...but I'm ready to have my Beast back for a while again.

I miss my Beast.
And it's not that 'I wish I could see you and talk to you right now' missing, though that's part of it. I crave the feeling of his body next to mine while I'm sleeping. I ache with the knowledge that he's not just in the next room or out for a run. I feel...hollow.
I don't know how I ever thought I could do this for more than just a week or two at a time because I'm already a wreck and it's only been a week.
Heard this song on some random radio station. Why a British classical station was having a day of American Women Composers is anyone's guess but I'm glad they did. Rushed back to the room and frantically searched what lyrics I could remember and finally found the poem:

Well, I'm just about to board my plane for London. I'll see everyone in about three weeks or whenever we finish the shoot - whichever comes first, eh?
Don't mind me if I'm a bit whiny and mopey but Jared won't be able to come with me due to other obligations he has here in the states.
So, anyone out there in London who'd like to help cheer me up has an open invitation! :-D

I have a good excuse this time, though! I've been busy with preparing and rehearsing and filming but I've got a bit of a break now before heading out to England for exteriors and death and whatnot. Anyone in London like to have a beer some time in September?
Well...that's my life for the last couple of months as well as the next in a single paragraph. I'm not sure whether I should be proud of how concise I can be or depressed! ;-D
