( Naveen has taken the last few days to carefully watch their boy. He peeks at him when Adam doesn't think they are looking. Something's off with him. The kid is so stressed that Naveen is afraid he might make himself sick. He makes his way to Billy's office. They need to discuss this and not have Adam stumbling in. )

( Adam's curled up on the arm chair with the laptop on his lap. He's doing the research on Hindu weddings. Naveen's taking notes. )

( I picked it up from the club last night. Isn't it wonderful? )

( Patrick tapped Adam's cell number in and pressed send. It had been a while since they'd spoken and he hoped they could catch up while he was in New York. )

( Adam's shift manager is a very kind man. Adam didn't get his migraine meds in him fast enough and the migraine came crashing over him after lunch. He was going to push through the pain, but the manager found a small room and ordered the boy to sleep it off. After calling home and leaving a message, Adam heads to the elevators. It's slow. Walking hurts. )

( Today is the day. Brunch with his mother. He arrives early, letting himself in.  )

( Flying these days, especially into England, really sucks. Adam had to check everything. He heads to the baggage claim, hoping to see Patrick. )

Adam's stomach drops when he sees the letter. NYU. It's the make or break moment.

Dear Adam Lamberg,

It is our pleasure to……..

That's all he needs to see. He's moving to New York. Time to put this city behind him. Start a new life.

( It's February in LA. It's warm, and sunny, and Naveen has been inside taking meetings. Some up and coming studio wants to make a big budget Bollywood musical, in English. Naveen is actually interested, but doubtful that it will happen. After the meeting, they head back to the club. )

[players only. Takes place a week or so ago]

( It's been a few days since Adam showed up on Pat's doorstep. He's slowly been drifting from numb to being overwhelmed with emotion. He sits on the floor, sobbing. Foster is missing.  )

I've gotten past numb. Now I'm feeling everythiung else. Pain, anger, depression, self loathing.

I need it all beaten out of me, but I don't wnat to ask my host. I've already asked too much of him. And know I need a brutality that he cna't offer.

[players only. Takes place soon after Adam posts about the breakup]

( Adam prays that Patrick is around still, that he hasn't left to go back to London. He's numb. And alone. It wasn't surprising. They still love each other, but Adam needs to grow. Maybe down the road they can be together again. When Adam's more mature. Right now, Adam's hurting. He seeks out one of the few supports he still has. Patrick. )

after a lot of talking, and soul searching my life has taken a new turn.

Master and I have split up. I'm bunking with another intern for a few days.

No master, no family. but it's a start.

I think my brain broke.

The other day I was on the phone with Professor X (Capt. Picard). He said the next time he calls, he'll let me speak to Magneto (Gandalf).

And today i was chatted up by River Tam, while Agest Smecker was seriously getting busy with a scantily clad woman, and his boyfriend.

I think I just died and went to Sci-Fi movie (and other obscure movie) heaven

( Adam, he can call Adam, his friend in LA, Adam will definitely want to know. Grabbing up his book of phone numbers, he finds Adam's and dials, waiting anxiously for someone on the other end to pick up, knowing he's smiling broadly. )

Adam wakes up with his alarm. It's usually gentle music. His eyes water as the music screams in his ears. He blinks a bit, wondering when his alarm clock got so bright.

It's when the nausea starts, he knows it's a migraine. Luckily his cell is in reach.

"Hello, I need to call in. Yeah, I know I have toys to inventory. Yeah... a migraine. Thanks. I'll be in tomorrow."

He clicks off the phone, swallows imitrix dry, and prays that it will work. To knock him out.
